(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2021

The Scottish Borders Council (C46 Ednam) (Temporary Closing) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 14 June 2021 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 5 July 2021 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for a new sewer connection.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C46 at Ednam, from the B6461 eastwards.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the B6461, A6089, A698 and C46 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
