(VARIOUS ROADS, PEEBLES)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2021

The Scottish Borders Council (Various Roads, Peebles) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 1 February 2021 and is expected to remain in effect until 16 February 2021, as detailed below. The Order is required for resurfacing works.

When the Order comes into effect:

1. permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on both sides of the following roads in Peebles:

1. Rosetta Road - from March Street to Kingsland Square,
2. Kirkland Street - from Rosetta Road westwards for 20 metres,

(iii) Rose Park - from Rosetta Road westwards for 20 metres,

from 1 February to 16 February 2021 between the hours of 08:30 and 17:00, on weekdays only; and

2. drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Rosetta Road, Peebles from Wemyss Place to Kingsland Square from 11 February to 16 February 2021 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:30, on weekdays only.

The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the March Street, the A703 and D68/1 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
