(A699 TEVIOT BRIDGE, KELSO)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2021

The Scottish Borders Council (A699 Teviot Bridge, Kelso) (Temporary Closing) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 26 January 2021 and is expected to remain in effect until 29 January 2021 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 on 26 January, 27 January and 29 January 2021 only. The Order is required for bridge repairs.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A699 at Teviot Bridge, Kelso.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the A699, A68, B6404, A6089, A698, B6352 and A699 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
