(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2021

 

The Scottish Borders Council (Exchange Street, Jedburgh) (Temporary Closing) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 18 January 2021 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 09:30 and 18:00. The Order is required for Scottish Water ironwork repairs.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Exchange Street, Jedburgh from Friarsgate to Burn Wynd.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Friarsgate, Pleasance, High Street, the A68 and Canongate to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

The Scottish Borders Council (High Street, Exchange Street and Queen Street, Jedburgh) (Temporary One Way) No 2 Order 2019 dated 9 September 2019 is amended as follows: the One Way Order on Exchange Street, Jedburgh is revoked for the duration of this Order to permit access to Burn Wynd.
