(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2021

 

The Scottish Borders Council (B709 Gair to Angecroft) (Temporary Closing) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 14 January 2021 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30. The Order is required for surface dressing works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B709 from Gair to Angecroft.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the B709, B7009, A707, A7 and B709 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
