(C68 CAIRNMOUNT)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (C68 Cairnmount) (Temporary Closing) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 22:00 on 29 October 2020 and is expected to remain in effect overnight until 06:00 on 30 October 2020. The Order is required for Scottish Water works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C68 at Cairnmount.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the C68, A699, D30/4 and C68 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
