(A703 PEEBLES TO WINKSTON FARM)

(TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (A703 Peebles to Winkston Farm) (Temporary Speed Restriction) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 6 October 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 9 October 2020 between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 each day. The Order is required to ensure a safe working and driving environment while carriageway patching works are taking place.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle at a speed exceeding 30mph along the A703 from the 30mph signs in Peebles to Winkston Farm.
