(B6357 DAWSTONBURN BRIDGE)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020
The Scottish Borders Council (B6357 Dawstonburn Bridge) (Temporary Closing) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 21 July 2020 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of ten weeks – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for bridge repair works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B6357 at Dawstonbridge.
The alternative routes are as follows:
For vehicles 10T and under: southbound via the B6357, A6088, A698, B6399 and B6357 to the point of closure, northbound the reverse of the foregoing;
For vehicles over 10T: southbound via the B6357, A6088, A7 and B6357 to the point of closure, northbound the reverse of the foregoing.
