(A708 WHITEHOPE BRIDGE, YARROW)

(TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2019

The Scottish Borders Council (A708 Whitehope Bridge, Yarrow) (Temporary 30mph Speed Restriction) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 20 November 2019 and is expected to remain in effect until 16:00 on 30 November 2019 – 24 hour restriction. The Order is required to ensure a safe working and driving environment whilst bridge repair works are being carried out.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle at a speed exceeding 30mph along the A708 at Whitehope Bridge, Yarrow, from a point 50 metres east of the bridge to a point 50 metres west of the same bridge.
