(MANSFIELD GARDENS, HAWICK)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2019

The Scottish Borders Council (Mansfield Gardens, Hawick) (Temporary Closing) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 9 September 2019 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of two weeks – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for works associated with Hawick Flood Protection Scheme.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Mansfield Gardens, Hawick at its junction with Mansfield Road.

The alternative route for northbound traffic is via Mansfield Road, Eastfield Road and Mansfield Gardens to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
