(SELKIRK EX STANDARD BEARERS CHARITY RIDE)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2019

 

The Scottish Borders Council are making the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, with the consent of Scottish Ministers under Section 16A(6) and Section 16B(6)(b) of the said Act. The Order, which has a maximum duration of one day, will come into force at 09:00 on 31 August 2019 and is expected to remain in effect until 15:00. The closure is required to facilitate the holding of a relevant event, being the Selkirk Ex Standard Bearers Charity Ride.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the roads and streets in Selkirk and the surrounding area as detailed in the attached Schedule. The closures will come into effect only at such times as instructed by a police officer in uniform and/or appropriate traffic signs are displayed on the affected lengths of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
