(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2019

The Scottish Borders Council (B6460 Clerkenville) (Temporary Closing) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 27 May 2019 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of five days between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 each day. The Order is required for patching works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B6460 Clerkenville from Inkbottle Lodge to Cleughhead.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the B6460, A697, A6105, A6112 and B6460 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
