(B712 MERLINDALE BRIDGE)

(TEMPORARY 20MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2019

The Scottish Borders Council (B712 Merlindale Bridge) (Temporary 20mph Speed Restriction) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 8 May 2019 and is expected to remain in effect until 23 September 2019 - 24 hour restriction. The Order is required for bridge refurbishment works.

When the Order comes into effect a temporary 20mph speed limit will be in force on the B712 at Merlindale Bridge east of Rachan Mill from a point 250 metres east of the bridge to a point 175 metres west of the bridge.
