(GALA PARK, GALASHIELS)

(TEMPORARY ONE WAY) ORDER 2019

The Scottish Borders Council (Gala Park, Galashiels) (Temporary One Way) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 15 April 2019 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 20 April 2019 - 24 hour restriction. The Order is required for Scottish Power works.

When the Order comes into effect a One Way Order in a northerly direction shall be in force on Gala Park, Galashiels from Victoria Street to Kirkbrae.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via Mossilee Road, Mossilee Crescent, Meigle Street, Balmoral Avenue, Scott Street and Gala Park to the point of restriction.
