(A6089 WINDY CORNER TO SKINLAWS TOLL)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2019
The Scottish Borders Council (A6089 Windy Corner to Skinlaws Toll) (Temporary Closing) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 16 April 2019 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of four days between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for surface dressing patching works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A6089 from Windy Corner to Skinlaws Toll.
The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the B6397, A6105 and A6089 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
