(D20/6 RUTHVEN TO BUTTERLAW)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2019

The Scottish Borders Council (D20/6 Ruthven to Butterlaw) (Temporary Closing) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 19 February 2019 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of two days - 24 hour closure.  The Order is required for BT network upgrade works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D20/6 Ruthven to Butterlaw, east of Leitholm.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the C94, C96, A6112 and D20/6 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
