(D54/1 RACHAN HOME FARM)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2019
The Scottish Borders Council (D54/1 Rachan Home Farm) (Temporary Closing) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 8 February 2019 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of three days between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for demolition of the railway bridge abutment.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D54/1 Rachan Home Farm at the railway bridge.
The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the D54/1, C9, A701, B712 and D54/1 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
