(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2019

 

The Scottish Borders Council (Ettrick Terrace, Hawick) (Temporary Closing) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 14 January 2019 and is expected to remain in effect until 1 February 2019 - 24 hour closure. The Order is required for resurfacing works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along Ettrick Terrace, Hawick.

The alternative route for northbound traffic is via Gable End Street, Yarrow Terrace and St Ninians Road to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
