THE SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL

(HOWDENBANK, HAWICK)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2018

 

The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 11 January 2019 and is expected to remain in effect until 14 January 2019 between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30 each day. The road will be open over the weekend of 12 and 13 January 2019. The Order is required for resurfacing works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along Howdenbank, Hawick from the junction with Melrose Court westwards.

There is no alternative route.
