(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2018
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 19 November 2018 and is expected to remain in effect until 30 November 2018 between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30 each day. The road will be open over the weekend of 24 and 25 November 2018. The Order is required for resurfacing works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B6437 Main Street, Allanton.
The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the B6437, B6460, A6112, A6105 and B6437 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
