(CROSS STREET, PEEBLES)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2018
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 6 November 2018 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of four days between the hours of 08:30 and 16:00 each day. The Order is required for resurfacing works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along Cross Street, Peebles.
The alternative route for northbound traffic is via Elcho Street Brae, Old Town, Young Street and Cross Street to the point of closure, for southbound traffic via Cross Road, Damdale and Elcho Street.
Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
