THE SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL

(VARIOUS STREETS, WALKERBURN)

(TEMPORARY NO WAITING) ORDER 2018

 

The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 09:30 on 5 November 2018 and is expected to remain in effect until 15:30 on 7 November 2018 - 24 hour restriction. The Order is required for access to an underground structure for an Openreach customer connection.

When the Order comes into effect, no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along the following streets in Walkerburn:

(a)   Jubilee Road - from its junction with the A72 southwards for 25 metres;

(b)   Hall Street - from its junction with the A72 southwards for 30 metres; and

(c)   A72 Galashiels Road - from a point 100 metres west of its junction with Hall Street to a point 100 metres east of the same junction.
