THE SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL

(STATION ROAD, OXTON)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2018

 

The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 5 November 2018 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of two days between the hours of 08:30 and 16:00 each day. The Order is required for resurfacing works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along Station Road, Oxton from its junction with the A68 southwards for 200 metres.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the A68, C84 and Station Road to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

Access for pedestrian and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
