(KIRK WYND, SELKIRK)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2018
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 16 September 2018 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of One day between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00. The Order is required for footway works.
When the Order comes into effect:
- No person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the following roads:
- Market Place from West Port to Kirk Wynd; and
- Kirk Wynd from Market Place to the entrance to the Post Office Car Park
- The Borders Regional Council (Kirk Wynd and Market Place, Selkirk) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1987 in relation to Kirk Wynd will be revoked on the 16 September 2018 between the hours of 08.00 and 17:00 to allow access and egress.
The alternative route for southbound traffic is via Market Place, High Street, Tower Street and Back Row to the point of restriction.
