(D66/3 SOUTHWARDS FROM FORKINS)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2018
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 30 August 2018 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of ten days – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for network upgrade works for BT Openreach.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D66/3 southwards from Forkins.
The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the D67/3, B6357 and D66/3 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
