(HIGH STREET AND EXCHANGE STREET, JEDBURGH)
(TEMPORARY ONE WAY) ORDER 2018
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 4 June 2018 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of forty weeks - 24 hour restriction. The Order is required for emergency building works.
When the Order comes into effect the following one way orders will be in force in Jedburgh:
(a) High Street, in a southerly direction from Jewellers Wynd to Canongate – no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle in a northerly direction The alternative route for northbound traffic is via Canongate, Newcastle Road and High Street to the point of closure; and
(b) Exchange Street, in a northerly direction from High Street to Friarsgate – no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle in a southerly direction The alternative route for southbound traffic is via Friarsgate, Pleasance and High Street to the point of closure.
