(B6352 SOFTLAW EAST MAINS TO NATIONAL BOUNDARY)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2018

 

The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 4 June 2018 and is expected to remain in effect until 8 June 2018 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 each day. The Order is required for carriageway patching works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B6352 as follows:

(a)   from Softlaw East Mains to Blakelaw from 4 June 2018 to 6 June 2018. The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the B6352, B6436, B6401, Morebattle Road and High Street in Town Yetholm and the B6352 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing; and

(b)   from Town Yetholm to the National Boundary from 7 June 2018 to 8 June 2018. The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the B6352, B6396 and B6352 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
