THE SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL

(A6105 MIDDLETHIRD)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2018

 

The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 4 June 2018 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of five days between the hours of 08:30 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for carriageway patching.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A6105 at Middlethird.  

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the A6105, Eden Road and Station Road in Gordon, the A6089, A697, Edinburgh Road and Wester Row in Greenlaw and the A6105 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. 

Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
