(B6461 SWINTON TO WHITSOMEHILL CROSSROADS)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2018
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 4 June 2018 and is expected to remain in effect until 8 June 2018 between the hours of 08:00 and 15:00 each day. The Order is required for carriageway patching works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B6461 from Swinton to Whitsomehill Crossroads.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Coldstream Road, the A6112, B6470 and B6437 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
