THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

(THE BURGH OF SELKIRK (VARIOUS STREETS, SELKIRK)

(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND ONE-WAY TRAFFIC

 WORKING) ORDER 1972) (AMENDMENT NO.6) ORDER 201X

 

The Scottish Borders Council propose to make the above Order in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Sections 1 and 2 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the said Act.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce a one way system in Kilncroft, Selkirk.

Full details of this proposal are in the draft Order which, together with a map showing the affected length of road, a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make the Order and the prior Orders to be amended may be examined at, Road Safety and Traffic Management, Assets and Infrastructure, Scottish Borders Council, Council Headquarters, Newtown St Boswells, TD6 0SA from Mondays to Thursdays between 8:45am and 5:00pm and on Fridays between 8:45am and 3:45pm and also at the Council’s Contact Centre, High Street, Selkirk TD7 4JX during normal working hours. Any person wishing to obtain technical advice on the provisions of the Order should telephone Road Safety and Traffic Management on 01835-826642.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send details of the grounds of objection in writing to the Service Director Regulatory Services, Council Headquarters, Newtown St Boswells, Melrose, TD6 0SA by 19 April 2018.
