(DAKERS’ PLACE & LOCH PARK ROAD, HAWICK)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2018

 

The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 27 March 2018 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 31 March 2018. The Order is required for network upgrade works for Openreach.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall:

(a)   drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Dakers’ Place, Hawick from Loch Park Road southwards for 30 metres. The alternative route for northbound traffic is via Dakers’ Place, Elm Grove, Lockhart Place and Loch Park Road to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing; and 

(b)   permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along both sides of:

       (i)    Dakers Place, Hawick from a point 30 metres north of its junction with Loch Park Road to a point 30 metres south of the same junction; and

       (ii)   Loch Park Road, Hawick from Lockhart Place to Lochpark Industrial Estate road.
