THE SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL

(MILL STREET, SELKIRK)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2018

 

The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 25 March 2018 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00. The Order is required for replacement of a SGN kiosk.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall:

(a)   drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Mill Street, Selkirk from Stey Brae to Forest Road. The alternative route for northbound traffic is via Mill Street, Heatherlie Terrace, Buccleuch Road, Muthag Street and Mill Street to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing; and 

(b)   permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along both sides of Mill Street, Selkirk from a point 30 metres north of its junction with Forest Road to a point 40 metres south of the same junction.
