(WESTFIELD ROAD, EARLSTON)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2018
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 27 February 2018 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00. The Order is required for ironwork repairs.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along Westfield Road, Earlston.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the A68, Huntshaw Road, Thornfield Crescent, Thornfield Road and Westfield Road to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
