(BORDERS FESTIVALS - GORDON)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2017
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of one day, will come into force at 14:30 on 11 June 2017 and is expected to remain in effect until 15:30. The closure is required to facilitate the holding of a relevant event, being the Gordon Civic Week fancy dress parade.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along Kelso Road and Main Street, Gordon. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
This closure will come into effect only at such times as instructed by a police officer in uniform and/or appropriate traffic signs are displayed on the affected lengths of road.
