(A698 KALEMOUTH)
(TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2017
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 5 June 2017 and is expected to remain in effect until 15:00 on 22 June 2017. The restriction is required on safety grounds during roadworks.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle at a speed exceeding 30mph along the A698 at Kalemouth from its junction with the B6401 to a point 250 metres east of Kalemouth Bridge.
