THE SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL TREE PRESERVATION

ORDER NO 59 (2022)

 

The Scottish Borders Council, the Planning Authority for the area under the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the above mentioned Act, on 1 August 2022 confirmed without modification the above Tree Preservation Order, made on 15 June 2022, in respect of a group of trees, woodland at Medwyn Drive, West Linton.

The Council has confirmed the Order as it is of the opinion that collectively that the group of trees, woodland provide screening and aesthetic local landscape value to Medwyn Drive and Medwyn Road, West Linton.

A copy of the Order (including a map) will be available for inspection at the Council’s Contact Centre at High Street, Peebles EH45 8AG during normal opening hours and at Planning, Housing and Related Services, Corporate Improvement and Economy, Council Headquarters, Newtown St Boswells during normal working hours.
