The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven or cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles)  to wait or load on the following length of road in the town of Renfrew in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:

 

Ferry Road, Renfrew – Footpath closure, EAST SIDE ONLY between Orchard Street and Kings Inch Road. (05/02/2024 – 29/11/2024).

Crofton Way, Renfrew between Kings Inch Road and Kenley Road.

(12/02/2024 – 29/11/2024).

Andrew Avenue, Renfrew between Kings Inch Road and Kenley Road. (04/03/2024 – 29/11/2024).

 

Reason for Restriction: Scottish Water Repair Works.

 

Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area.

 

Alternative Routes:  for Crofton Way/Andrew Avenue closures – e/b Kings Inch Road – Laymoor Avenue – Kenley Road

w/b Kings Inch Road – Ferry Road – Station Road.

for Ferry Road Footpath Closure – access via westbound footway to traffic signal crossing point at Station Road.

 

This notice will be in force from Monday 5th February 2024 until Friday 29th November 2024.

This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
