TEMPORARY INTRODUCTION OF ONE WAY OPERATION
Barhill Road, Erskine
The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that to manage additional traffic volumes and queueing of vehicles anticipated on or near the road, due to the reopening of the Civic Amenity Site, vehicles shall only proceed or cause or permit to proceed on Barrhill Road in a south-easterly direction only on the following length of road in the town of Erskine in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:
Barrhill Road from Millfield Drive to Old Greenock Road, Erskine.
Reason for Restriction: To reduce potential for conflict due to congestion for through traffic by creating a queuing provision on one side of the carriageway.
Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the restricted area.
Alternative Routes: From Old Greenock Road, proceed north west along Old Greenock Road, then turn right into Craigends Drive, proceed northeast to Barrhill Road.
This order will be in force on Monday, 1st June 2020 till Friday, 31st December 2021.
This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING
Barhill Road, Erskine
The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that to manage any additional surges in traffic anticipated on or near the road, due to the reopening of the Civic Amenity Site, no vehicle shall wait, load or unload or cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load on the following lengths of road in the town of Paisley in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:
Reason for Restriction: To reduce congestion for through traffic by creating a queuing provision on one side of the carriageway.
Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the restricted area.
Alternative Routes: N/A.
This order will be in force on Monday, 1st June 2020 till Friday, 31st December 2021.
This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
