Abbey Close & Bridge Street, Paisley (Food & Drink Festival)(Temporary Road Closures) Order 2018

 

The Renfrewshire Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other existing powers, with the consent of the Scottish Ministers under section 16 B(6) of the said Act, hereby make the following Order:-

 

1. This Order may be cited as “The Renfrewshire Council (Abbey Close & Bridge Street, Paisley) (Food & Drink Festival) (Temporary Road Closures) Order 2018” and shall come into operation on the following dates:

 

Friday, 27^th April 2018, 0001 hours, and will remain in operation until Sunday, 29^th April 2018, 0800 hours.

 

2. No person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle or cause or permit any motor
   vehicle to wait or load at any time (except for vehicles engaged in Renfrewshire Council entertainment events and those seeking access to premises by stewards, where timetabling allows) on the following lengths of road, by reason of entertainment events to be held on or near these roads:

 

Friday 27^th April

 

From 0001 hours onwards:

 

Abbey Close, from Bridge Street to Gauze Street

 

Friday 27^th April

 

From 1000 hours onwards:

 

Bridge Street, from Gordon Street to Cotton Street

 

 

Access will be maintained for Emergency Services at all times.

 

Alternative Routes: Cotton Street, Gauze Street, Mill Street or Vice Versa.

 

This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
