starting at Bowfield hotel and then turning right onto b776, turning left onto single track road towards Howwood fishery, following road until over Muirhead burn, turn right continuing along single track road, take right and follow single track down to re-join 8776 and turn left and follow for roughly 1 km before returning left and re-joining single track road and follow route back to where first left the b776 and follow road back to Bowfield hotel.
