On 27/3/24 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit all HGV’s, Buses and any vehicles or combination of vehicles measuring over 9.9m in length from turning right from the A824 Western Road, Auchterarder onto the Southbound carriageway of the M9/A9(T) Edinburgh-Stirling-Thurso Trunk Road. Alternative route: A9(T) Northbound – Broxden Roundabout – A9(T) Southbound – A823. This applies from 2/4/24 for an estimated period of 2 weeks to permit utility connection works on the above section of road. Should these works overrun the maximum duration in terms of this Order is 18 months. Pedestrian and emergency vehicular access to premises will be maintained.
