On 6/10/22 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily (i) prohibit all vehicles from driving, parking and/or loading on both sides of the A823 Glendevon from the access to the property known as Lavender Cottage to the boundary with Clackmannanshire Council a distance of 2.264 kilometres or thereby. This applies from 17/10/22 for an estimated period of 6 weeks between the hours of 09:15hrs and 15:30hrs; and (ii) restrict all vehicular traffic to 30mph on the A823 Glendevon from the access to the property known as Lavender Cottage to the boundary with Clackmannanshire Council a distance of 2.264 kilometres or thereby. This applies from 17/10/22 for an estimated period of 6 weeks between the hours of 15:30hrs and 09:15hrs. This is to allow resurfacing works to be carried out. The alternative route for vehicles is via:- A9(T) – M90(T) – A91 – A823. Should these works overrun the maximum duration in terms of this Order is 18 months. Pedestrian and emergency vehicular access to premises will be maintained.
