On 10/8/21 the Council made an Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order is expected to be in force on 21/8/21 for a period of 2 days (in phases) for the purpose of allowing a multi sports event to take place in safety. The effect of the Order will be to (FIRST) prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic on both sides of the following roads:- (a) Taybridge Drive, Aberfeldy between the Taybridge Road and Kenmore Street junctions (Alternative Route (AR): Taybridge Road – Kenmore Street) and (b) Alma Avenue, Aberfeldy between the A827 Kenmore Road junction and the road into Breadalbane Academy (AR: A827 – A826 – Breadalbane Academy); (SECOND) prohibit temporarily parking and loading for all vehicular traffic on both sides of the following roads:- (i) A827 Kenmore Street, Aberfeldy between the Taybridge Drive and Alma Avenue junctions for 80 metres or thereby; (ii) Alma Avenue, Aberfeldy between the A827 Kenmore Street junction to just past Breadalbane Academy for 132 metres or thereby; and (iii) Taybridge Drive, Aberfeldy between the B846 Taybridge Road and the A827 Kenmore Street junctions for 371 metres or thereby; and (THIRD) restrict temporarily all vehicular traffic to 30mph on both sides of the C447 Strathtay Road, Aberfeldy from the B846 The Avenue to Strathtay for 7.3 kilometres or thereby. Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians.
