On 8/6/21 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to restrict temporarily all vehicular traffic to 20mph and 40mph on the following roads in Strathtay and Grandtully:- Strathtay (1) C447 Main Road (east) from a point 282 metres or thereby east of its junction with C447 (southwest) eastwards for a 210 metres or thereby; and (2) C447 Main Road (west) from a point 824 metres or thereby west of its junction with C447 (southeast) westwards for 210 metres or thereby; and Grandtully (A) A827 Main Road (northeast) from a point 320 metres or thereby northeast of its junction with C447 north-eastwards for 210 metres or thereby; and (B) A827 Main Road (west) from a point 173 metres or thereby west of its junction with Aultbeag Road westwards for 210 metres or thereby. This applies from 18/6/21 as the Council acting as Traffic Authority is satisfied that there is a requirement to implement reduced speed limits in the Strathtay and Grandtully area as part of the spaces for people safety initiative. These restrictions on the above sections of road will be in place for a maximum duration in terms of the Act of 18 months.
