On 17/8/20 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to restrict temporarily all vehicular traffic to 20mph on the following roads around the Wolfhill area:- (1) U128 Old Church Road from its junction with the U125 Birnam Wood Way to its junction with the access to the property known as Redford Cottage a distance of 585.8 metres or thereby, (2) U126 Dunsinane Road for its entire length, a distance of 652 metres or thereby, (3) U125 Birnam Wood Way for its entire length, a distance of 235 metres or thereby, (4) Fraser Avenue, Wolfhill for its entire length, a distance of 200 metres or thereby, (5) Hawthorn Bank, Wolfhill for its entire length, a distance of 60 metres or thereby, and (6) Castle Road, Wolfhill for its entire length, a distance of 345 metres or thereby. This applies from 19/8/20 as the Council, acting as Traffic Authority, is satisfied that there is a requirement to implement a reduced speed limit to assist with physical distancing safety measures around the Wolfhill area. These restrictions on the above sections of road will be in place for a maximum duration in terms of the Act of 18 months.
