On 5/8/20 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit all vehicles from driving, parking and/or loading on both sides of the High Street, Perth between the Scott Street and South Methven Street junctions for 112.25 metres or thereby (access for loading only permitted before 11am and after 4pm Monday to Sunday). This applies from 8/8/20 as the Council, acting as Traffic Authority, is satisfied that there is a likelihood of danger to the public due to traffic movements and social distancing measures. These restrictions on the above section of road will be in place for a maximum duration in terms of the Act of 18 months. Pedestrian and emergency vehicle access to premises will be maintained.
