On 14/1/20 the Council made Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for the purpose of permitting various events on the following dates and locations. The Orders will temporarily prohibit all vehicles from driving, parking and/or loading on both sides of the following roads on the dates specified:- (1) 20/1/20 - 7/2/20 - Riverside Light Nights - Riverside, Perth from its junction with the A85 Dundee Road for its full length to the turning circle; (2) 1/2/20 - Chinese New Year - High Street – St John Street – South Street, Queen’s Bridge – Riverside, Perth; (3) 25/1/20 - Burns Night – High Street – Tay Street - St John Street – South Street, Queen’s Bridge – Riverside, Perth; and (4) 20/6/20 - Errol Gala Day - High Street, Errol. All alternative routes are local diversions. Should these works overrun the maximum duration in terms of this Order is 18 months. Pedestrian and emergency vehicle access to premises will be maintained.
