On 1/10/19 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit all vehicles from driving, parking and/or loading on both sides of the C458 Castleton between the U21 and Castleton Road junctions for 1.50 kilometres or thereby. The alternative route for vehicles is via:- U20 – Easthill Road – Orchil Road - A824. This applies on 14/10/19 for an estimated period of 5 days to permit carriageway patching works. Should these works overrun the maximum duration in terms of this Order is 18 months. Pedestrian and emergency vehicle access to premises will be maintained.
