On 17/4/19 the Council made Orders under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 for the purpose of permitting open air Farmers & Craft Markets on the following dates:- (a) 27/4/19, (b) 25/5/19, (c) 22/6/19, (d) 24/8/19, (e) 28/9/19, and (f) 26/10/19. The Orders will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic on High Street from its junction with Burns Begg Street to its junction with Montgomery Street a distance of 128.88 metres or thereby. The alternative route for vehicles is via:- Montgomery Street – Montgomery Road – Bowton Road. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
