On 27/2/19 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit driving, parking and/or loading for all vehicular traffic on both sides of James Street from its junction with Upper Allan Street for its entire length a distance of 200 metres or thereby. Alternative route: Upper Allan Street – Newton Terrace – Newton Street – George Street. This applies from 11/3/19 for an estimated period of 2 weeks to permit carriageway resurfacing works. Should these works overrun the maximum duration of this Order is 18 months. Pedestrian access to premises will be maintained.
